Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Art Evening sale auction, the work Oxen With Stones changed hands for GBP 145,250.00 (€ 183,600.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Carafe, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 288,500.00 (€ 403,974.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov konnte im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Art Evening sale wechselte die Arbeit Oxen With Stones für GBP 145.250,00 (€ 183.600,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With Carafe beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 288.500,00 (€ 403.974,64) versteigert wurde.
