Sold at the upper estimate price
In November 2017 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Still life with violin by Paul Kotlarevsky. The auction ended at the price of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,378.72), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Kotlarevsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harvest in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 234,500.00 (€ 328,360.67).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with violin von Paul Kotlarevsky zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.378,72) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Kotlarevsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harvest im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 234.500,00 (€ 328.360,67).
