Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Cubist Still Life With Violin by Paul Kotlarevsky. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,600.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Kotlarevsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harvest in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 234,500.00 (€ 328,360.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cubist Still Life With Violin von Paul Kotlarevsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.600,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Kotlarevsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harvest im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 234.500,00 (€ 328.360,67).
