Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Shovelling Sand On The Seine by Paul Kotlarevsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 112,530.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Kotlarevsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harvest, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 234,500.00 (€ 328,360.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Shovelling Sand On The Seine von Paul Kotlarevsky kam im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 112.530,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Kotlarevsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harvest beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 234.500,00 (€ 328.360,67) versteigert wurde.
