Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work A nude leaning on a pole (recto) by Pauline Auzou for GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,246.12). This price was achieved in the auction OLD MASTER DRAWINGS - CSK at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pauline Auzou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Seated Boy, Supporting His Right Elbow in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,286.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2000 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A nude leaning on a pole (recto) von Pauline Auzou für GBP 1.410,00 (€ 2.246,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion OLD MASTER DRAWINGS - CSK bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pauline Auzou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Seated Boy, Supporting His Right Elbow im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.286,48).
