Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pauline Auzou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2010. In the Master Drawings from a Distinguished European Collection auction, the work A Drapery Study sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,260.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pauline Auzou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Seated Boy, Supporting His Right Elbow in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,286.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pauline Auzou erzielte im Juli 2010 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Master Drawings from a Distinguished European Collection wurde die Arbeit A Drapery Study für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.260,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pauline Auzou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Seated Boy, Supporting His Right Elbow im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.286,48).
