Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two works: (I) Pattern Painting – Cutout – Stone Washed; (II) Pattern Object – Trench Coat by Paulina Olowska was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,970.00 (€ 10,339.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paulina Olowska achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ela in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,352.81).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.970,00 (€ 10.339,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paulina Olowska erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ela im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 106.352,81).
