Despite a disappointment, a good price for Paul Wescott
When the work The schooner by Paul Wescott was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,175.02). Despite this disappointing result, The schooner is the most expensive artwork by Paul Wescott that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit The schooner von Paul Wescott im Februar 2011 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
