This work of art by Paul Wescott could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Gull Rock changed hands for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,087.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Paul Wescott have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2011 by the work The schooner at USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,175.02).
