Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Paul Partos was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in November 2000. The price achieved of AUD 4,700.00 (€ 2,844.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 3,500.00 – 5,500.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Partos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled 12 (X,O, Paintings Series) in May 2003 with an auction result of AUD 35,250.00 (€ 19,512.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paul Partos kam im November 2000 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 4.700,00 (€ 2.844,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 3.500,00 – 5.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Partos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled 12 (X,O, Paintings Series) im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 35.250,00 (€ 19.512,43).
