Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The embroidery class by Paul Musin was sold in the The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils, auction at Christies in London in July 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 342.00 (€ 496.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Paul Musin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of A Young Girl, Bust-Length, Wearing A White Dress in March 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,235.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The embroidery class von Paul Musin wurde im Juli 2005 in der Auktion The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils, bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 342,00 (€ 496,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Musin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of A Young Girl, Bust-Length, Wearing A White Dress im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.235,20).
