Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Musin could be acquired at Christies in London in January 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work The pet bird changed hands for GBP 336.00 (€ 492.48) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Musin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of A Young Girl, Bust-Length, Wearing A White Dress in March 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,235.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Musin konnte im Januar 2006 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wechselte die Arbeit The pet bird für GBP 336,00 (€ 492,48) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Musin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of A Young Girl, Bust-Length, Wearing A White Dress im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.235,20).
