Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Paul Mount achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2014. In the Made In Britain auction, the work Un Homme Et Une Femme sold for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,780.01) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Mount - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rhapsody, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 64,900.00 (€ 78,098.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Mount erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made In Britain wurde die Arbeit Un Homme Et Une Femme für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.780,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Mount mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rhapsody beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 64.900,00 (€ 78.098,46) versteigert wurde.
