Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man And Woman by Paul Mount was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,292.00 (€ 5,907.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Mount achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rhapsody in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 64,900.00 (€ 78,098.46).

Die Arbeit Man And Woman von Paul Mount kam im November 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.292,00 (€ 5.907,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Mount erzielen.
