Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Ucelli by Paul Mount was sold in the Modern & Post-War British Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,718.28) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Mount - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rhapsody, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 64,900.00 (€ 78,098.46).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Ucelli von Paul Mount wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.718,28) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Mount mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rhapsody beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 64.900,00 (€ 78.098,46) versteigert wurde.
