Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Paul Mount achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2014. In the Made In Britain auction, the work Sail Forms sold for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,258.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Mount have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rhapsody in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 64,900.00 (€ 78,098.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Mount erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made In Britain wurde die Arbeit Sail Forms für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.258,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Mount auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rhapsody im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 64.900,00 (€ 78.098,46).
