Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Indian Hunter by Paul Manship for USD 81,250.00 (€ 72,363.73). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Manship achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Hunter And His Dog in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,135,786.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Indian Hunter von Paul Manship für USD 81.250,00 (€ 72.363,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Manship erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indian Hunter And His Dog im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.135.786,34).
