The work Diana by Paul Manship was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. It achieved a price of USD 975,000.00 (€ 819,465.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paul Manship; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Indian Hunter And His Dog sold at auction in December 2013 with the realized price of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,135,786.34).
