The work Diana by Paul Manship was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. It achieved a price of USD 975,000.00 (€ 819,465.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paul Manship; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Indian Hunter And His Dog sold at auction in December 2013 with the realized price of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,135,786.34).

Die Arbeit Diana von Paul Manship wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 975.000,00 (€ 819.465,46) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Paul Manship; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Indian Hunter And His Dog im Dezember 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.135.786,34).
