Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Sothebys in Paris held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, which included the work Vue De Hérisson Avec Deux Paysannes Et Un Enfant by Paul Lecomte. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Lecomte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French A Spring Morning At The Château-Gaillard, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 33,000.00 (€ 24,158.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue De Hérisson Avec Deux Paysannes Et Un Enfant von Paul Lecomte zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Lecomte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French A Spring Morning At The Château-Gaillard beobachtet, die im April 2007 für USD 33.000,00 (€ 24.158,13) versteigert wurde.
