Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Port De La Rochelle by Paul Lecomte for EUR 16,250.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century Paintings and Drawings at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Paul Lecomte have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2007 by the work French A Spring Morning At The Château-Gaillard at USD 33,000.00 (€ 24,158.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Port De La Rochelle von Paul Lecomte für EUR 16.250,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Drawings bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Lecomte wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2007 die Arbeit French A Spring Morning At The Château-Gaillard mit USD 33.000,00 (€ 24.158,13).
