Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Lecomte could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Pictures Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work In The Fields Near A Village changed hands for EUR 192.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Lecomte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French A Spring Morning At The Château-Gaillard in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 33,000.00 (€ 24,158.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Lecomte konnte im Juni 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings wechselte die Arbeit In The Fields Near A Village für EUR 192,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Lecomte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French A Spring Morning At The Château-Gaillard im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.000,00 (€ 24.158,13).
