Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Paul Gadegaard could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Art, antiques & collector's items auction, the work Composition changed hands for DKK 600.00 (€ 80.59) - just shy of the DKK 1,200.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Gadegaard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, 1955 in August this year with an auction result of DKK 34,000.00 (€ 4,560.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Gadegaard konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Art, antiques & collector's items wechselte die Arbeit Composition für DKK 600,00 (€ 80,59) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Gadegaard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled, 1955 im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 34.000,00 (€ 4.560,94).
