Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Leroy by Paul Colin for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,914.17). This price was achieved in the auction Posters at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Paul Colin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Tumulte Noir in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 133,946.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Leroy von Paul Colin für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.914,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Posters bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Colin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Tumulte Noir im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 133.946,39).
