Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2015 Christies in Paris held the auction Tableaux 1400-1900, which included the work Le rêve by Paul Baudry. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Baudry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le petit Saint Jean in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 115,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2015 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Tableaux 1400-1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le rêve von Paul Baudry zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Baudry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le petit Saint Jean im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 115.000,00.
