In the A Tribute to Symbolism auction, the work Jeune Femme Se Protégeant Du Soleil Sous Un Voile sold for EUR 15,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul-Albert Besnard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madame Alfred Lenoir Et Ses Deux Filles in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 67,650.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul-Albert Besnard erzielte im September 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A Tribute to Symbolism wurde die Arbeit Jeune Femme Se Protégeant Du Soleil Sous Un Voile für EUR 15.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul-Albert Besnard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Madame Alfred Lenoir Et Ses Deux Filles im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 67.650,00.
