Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "For all Seasons, Drive-by View" by Patrik Qvist was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 7,500.00 (€ 822.03). Admittedly, works by Patrik Qvist have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "For all seasons-drive-by view" in October 2009 with an auction result of SEK 46,000.00 (€ 4,420.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "For all Seasons, Drive-by View" von Patrik Qvist im Mai 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 7.500,00 (€ 822,03) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrik Qvist auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "For all seasons-drive-by view" im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 46.000,00 (€ 4.420,74).
