Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Well by Patrick William Adam was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,632.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick William Adam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dinner Table, Ardilea in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,417.28).
