Auction result well in line with expectations
The work St. Zaccaria, Venice by Patrick William Adam was sold in the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,007.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick William Adam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dinner Table, Ardilea in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,417.28).
