Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Tulip Garden by Patrick William Adam was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,657.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick William Adam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dinner Table, Ardilea in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,417.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Tulip Garden von Patrick William Adam wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.657,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick William Adam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dinner Table, Ardilea im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.000,00 (€ 105.417,28).
