The work 'Black Splash, Blanche Lake, Canada', 2009 by Patrick Hourcade was sold in the Photographs Online auction at Sothebys in Paris in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,240.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Patrick Hourcade have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2020 the work A Set Of Six Wall Lights was auctioned for EUR 6,300.00.
