Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Morning Reds by Patrick Heron was auctioned at Bonhams in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,200.00 (€ 3,724.25). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Heron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Blue Table With Window: 1954 in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,160,800.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Morning Reds von Patrick Heron kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.200,00 (€ 3.724,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Heron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Blue Table With Window: 1954 im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.160.800,09).
