Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Anniversary Print by Patrick Heron was auctioned at Bonhams in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,024.00 (€ 1,191.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Heron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Blue Table With Window: 1954 in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,160,800.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Anniversary Print von Patrick Heron kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.024,00 (€ 1.191,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Heron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Blue Table With Window: 1954 im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.160.800,09).
