Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vogue Anniversary, 1992 by Patrick Demarchelier was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2018. The price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,504.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 14,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Demarchelier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 138,600.00.

Die Arbeit Vogue Anniversary, 1992 von Patrick Demarchelier kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.504,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 14.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Demarchelier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 138.600,00.
