Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Shalom Harlow, Paris, 1995 by Patrick Demarchelier. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,963.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Demarchelier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 138,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shalom Harlow, Paris, 1995 von Patrick Demarchelier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.963,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Demarchelier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 138.600,00.
