The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,395.82) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Demarchelier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 138,600.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit 'Linda Evangelista', Paris, 1991 von Patrick Demarchelier kam im Mai 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.395,82) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Demarchelier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christy Turlington, New York, 1990 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 138.600,00.
