Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Inkjet Painting #47 by Parker Ito was sold in the Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer auction at Phillips in an online auction in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,133.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Parker Ito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Agony And The Ecstasy in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 68,244.78).

Die Arbeit Inkjet Painting #47 von Parker Ito wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.133,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Parker Ito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Agony And The Ecstasy im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 68.244,78).
