Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Cube Flow by Park Su Hyung. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,693.16), 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Park Su Hyung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rise 1; Rise 2; & Flow, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,038.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cube Flow von Park Su Hyung zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.693,16) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Park Su Hyung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rise 1; Rise 2; & Flow beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.038,18) versteigert wurde.
