Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pyramid;& Sea by Park Su Hyung was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2009. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,301.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Park Su Hyung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rise 1; Rise 2; & Flow, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,038.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pyramid;& Sea von Park Su Hyung kam im November 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.301,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Park Su Hyung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rise 1; Rise 2; & Flow beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.038,18) versteigert wurde.
