Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work View of Fira, Santorini by Paris Prekas was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,355.00 (€ 5,977.99). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paris Prekas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek ships, which sold at auction in May 2011 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,152.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit View of Fira, Santorini von Paris Prekas wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.355,00 (€ 5.977,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Paris Prekas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek ships beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.152,55) versteigert wurde.
