Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Port by Paris Prekas. The price achieved of EUR 14,025.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Paris Prekas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Greek ships was auctioned for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,152.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Port von Paris Prekas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 14.025,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Paris Prekas konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2011 die Arbeit Greek ships für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.152,55) versteigert.
