A top price for Paris Prekas - as previously expected
In May 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek ships by Paris Prekas. The auction ended at the price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,152.55), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek ships is the most expensive artwork by Paris Prekas that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek ships von Paris Prekas zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.152,55) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Greek ships das teuerste Kunstwerk von Paris Prekas, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
