The work Swan Rider by Parastou Forouhar was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in April 2008. It achieved a price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,058.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Parastou Forouhar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Friday, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 61,000.00 (€ 42,162.01).

Die Arbeit Swan Rider von Parastou Forouhar wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.058,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Für andere Arbeiten von Parastou Forouhar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Friday beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für USD 61.000,00 (€ 42.162,01) versteigert wurde.
