Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Friday- Quadripartite by Parastou Forouhar was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2008. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 39,425.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Parastou Forouhar have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work Friday was auctioned for USD 61,000.00 (€ 42,162.01).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 39.425,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
