Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rinaldo nel giardino di Armida by Paolo de Matteis was sold in the Old Master Pictures auction at Christies in Milan in November 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 152,000.00. Other works by Paolo de Matteis have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 114,000.00 (€ 166,882.64) in July 2006 for the work The Sacrifice of Isaac.
