Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work I Wish I Am A Fish by Paola Pivi. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,581.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paola Pivi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Donkey) in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 227,000.00 (€ 203,861.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Wish I Am A Fish von Paola Pivi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.581,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paola Pivi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Donkey) im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 227.000,00 (€ 203.861,70).
