The work Flower still life by Pang Xunqin was sold in the THE INCEPTION OF A NEW ERA - THE YAGEO FOUNDATION COLLECTION auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,200,000.00 (€ 124,965.58), 71% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Pang Xunqin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Roof (Painted In 1977) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 840,000.00 (€ 857,804.35).

Die Arbeit Flower still life von Pang Xunqin wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion THE INCEPTION OF A NEW ERA - THE YAGEO FOUNDATION COLLECTION bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.200.000,00 (€ 124.965,58) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pang Xunqin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Roof (Painted In 1977) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 857.804,35).
