Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Scholar under Pine/Kill Two Birds with One Arrow by Pan Zhenyong. It changed hands for a price of HKD 23,750.00 (€ 2,680.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pan Zhenyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hermitage By The Bamboo Grove in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scholar under Pine/Kill Two Birds with One Arrow von Pan Zhenyong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 23.750,00 (€ 2.680,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pan Zhenyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hermitage By The Bamboo Grove im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85).
