Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pan Zhenyong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Picking Water Chestnut sold for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 8,565.27) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pan Zhenyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hermitage By The Bamboo Grove in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pan Zhenyong erzielte im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Picking Water Chestnut für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 8.565,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pan Zhenyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hermitage By The Bamboo Grove im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85).
