The work Flowers by Pan Jingshu was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 350,000.00 (€ 38,916.45), 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pan Jingshu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers And Fruits, which sold at auction in April 2012 for HKD 1,160,000.00 (€ 113,027.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Pan Jingshu wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 38.916,45) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pan Jingshu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers And Fruits beobachtet, die im April 2012 für HKD 1.160.000,00 (€ 113.027,44) versteigert wurde.
