Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pan Jingshu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Narcissus; Peach Blossoms sold for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 41,273.18) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pan Jingshu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers And Fruits, which sold at auction in April 2012 for HKD 1,160,000.00 (€ 113,027.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pan Jingshu erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Narcissus; Peach Blossoms für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 41.273,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pan Jingshu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers And Fruits beobachtet, die im April 2012 für HKD 1.160.000,00 (€ 113.027,44) versteigert wurde.
